Gore Earthmoving is seeking an experienced and motivated Earthmoving Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently.

About the Role:

As an Earthmoving Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations while actively operating machinery. You will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, and ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate earthmoving crews on-site
  • Operate a range of machinery as required (excavators, scrapers, graders, dozers, etc.)
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Monitor site progress and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the earthmoving or civil construction industry
  • Strong hands-on machinery operating skills
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and run projects
  • Relevant tickets and licences for machinery operation
  • Sound understanding of WHS requirements
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills

Desirable: 

  • Experience in project planning and reporting
  • GPS machine control experience
  • HR licence (or higher)
