Gore Earthmoving is seeking an experienced and motivated Earthmoving Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently.
About the Role:
As an Earthmoving Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations while actively operating machinery. You will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, and ensure all work is completed to company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate earthmoving crews on-site
- Operate a range of machinery as required (excavators, scrapers, graders, dozers, etc.)
- Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Monitor site progress and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in the earthmoving or civil construction industry
- Strong hands-on machinery operating skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and run projects
- Relevant tickets and licences for machinery operation
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
Desirable:Â
- Experience in project planning and reporting
- GPS machine control experience
- HR licence (or higher)
