Gore Earthmoving, a locally owned and operated earthmoving business in Goondiwindi, is seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves float work, transporting heavy earthmoving machinery to and from job sites across the region.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position suited to a confident, safety-conscious driver with experience operating floats and transporting oversized loads. You’ll be a key part of our operations team, helping ensure our equipment is where it needs to be — safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate float trucks to transport earthmoving equipment
- Secure and load machinery in compliance with safety regulations
- Perform pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation
- Communicate effectively with workshop and project staff
About you:
- Current MC Licence (required)
- Experience with float work and oversized loads
- Sound knowledge of load restraint and heavy haulage requirements
- Strong work ethic and reliability
