Roller & Compactor Operator

We’re looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Roller & Compactor Operator to join our team in the earthmoving and civil construction industry. If you’ve got the skills to get the ground tight and right, we want you on board.

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for operating rollers and compactors across a range of civil and earthmoving projects, ensuring compaction meets site and spec requirements. This role suits someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a solid understanding of compaction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate padfoot, smooth drum, multi-tyre rollers and compactors as required

  • Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance

  • Work to compaction specs, moisture content, and level requirements

  • Assist with general site duties as needed

  • Maintain a high standard of safety and work quality

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience operating rollers/compactors in earthworks or roadworks

  • White Card (Construction Induction)

  • Current driver’s licence (HR preferred but not essential)

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow site directions

  • GPS or machine control experience is a bonus
